v0.5.0: On Windows, and with ChatGPT
Clerk.AI collects what your accountant needs each month or quarter: the bank statements, the receipts and invoices from your mail, your supplier portals and your photos. Then it writes the email to send with them. Until now that meant a Mac and a Claude subscription. With 0.5.0, more people can use it.
On a Windows PC (beta)
Clerk.AI now runs on Windows. It is the same app as on the Mac: the same first run, the same Home for each period, the same question cards, and the same folder of plain files on your own computer, with the statements and receipts and the drafted email inside.
It is a beta. It does everything the Mac app does, but far fewer people have used it, so expect rough edges, and tell us when you find one: the app has a Report a problem line on every screen, and it sends us what went wrong.

With a ChatGPT subscription
Clerk.AI does the work with an AI assistant that drives a web browser on your computer. Until now that assistant had to be Claude, through your own Claude subscription. Now it can also be ChatGPT, through your own ChatGPT subscription. When you first open the app it asks which one you use; if you have both, you choose, and you can change it later. You sign in to your subscription yourself, during first run.
Whichever you choose, AI makes mistakes, and everything it does for you is your responsibility: read what it filed and read the email before you send it.

- Reading what Clerk.AI knows about your business. When Clerk.AI wants you to check something, such as what it has written down about your company and your accountant, it opens it in the app for you to read, and what you say about it goes back to the work.
- Clerk.AI from your own AI assistant. If you use Claude Code or another assistant that takes skills, the Clerk.AI skill lets you ask it to close a month or chase a receipt, and it hands the work to the app, where you can see and continue it.
Getting it
You pay what you decide it is worth, including nothing. You also need a Claude or ChatGPT subscription for the AI that does the work. Clerk.AI runs on a Mac or PC: download it at clerkai.eu. If you already have it, it updates itself.
